CASEY (HENRY) CEMETERY This cemetery is behind the house at 3747 Bardstown Road. Only three stones remain, which are stacked together in an area the present owner keeps well-mowed. This was at one time the Henry Casey farm, and on his death the real estate was divided into five lots, which were each along the old Delaney Road. That there are probably more graves in this cemetery than markers found was noted by JS Drury,
The Processioner’s Book B (1883), details that Lot 1, which was drawn by the Martha Biliter heirs,
included the graveyard. Further noted was that Hayden Casey drew Lot #2,
Josiah Casey drew Lot #3, Bettie Blakeman drew Lot #4, and Rueben Casey drew Lot #5.
who transcribed this cemetery in 1977 but at that time found the stones all down and the graveyard gone to weeds.
